Waste Collection
We collect non-hazardous waste directly from businesses, contractors and trade customers. Each collection is arranged in advance, with the waste type, estimated volume and access details agreed before a vehicle is sent.
Collected material is taken on for sorting so that recoverable metals and recyclable materials are separated from the residual waste. A waste transfer note is issued for every load we collect.
- Non-hazardous commercial, trade and construction waste
- One-off collections or a regular agreed schedule
- Containers and skips left on site where required
- Waste transfer note issued on every collection
- Metals separated and credited where they have a value
Metal Purchasing
We purchase metal directly from businesses, contractors and trade sellers. Our buyers assess the grade and weight of each load and make an offer based on current commodity market prices.
Prices take account of the processing, sorting and handling involved in preparing material for onward sale. Every purchase follows the same procedure — assess, weigh, grade, pay.
- Ferrous and non-ferrous metals accepted
- All grades, from clean non-ferrous to mixed loads
- Pricing based on LME spot rates and grade at the point of purchase
- Payment by BACS bank transfer to the seller’s verified account
- Written purchase record issued on every transaction
Wholesale of Waste & Metals
Once purchased and sorted, recovered materials are consolidated and sold on to processors, smelters and downstream buyers. We act as a wholesale intermediary between the businesses that hold material and the facilities that can use it.
Where a seller has material in volume to place directly with a processor, we can also arrange the sale on an agency basis under a written agreement.
- Bulk lots sold to UK and European processors and smelters
- Material sorted, graded and baled prior to resale
- Commercial invoices and weight certificates on all wholesale transactions
- Consolidated loads traded by material type
Recovery & Sorting
We carry out the physical processing of mixed loads — separating ferrous from non-ferrous material, stripping insulated cable and grading copper, aluminium and brass into recognised trade categories.
Recovered materials are then sold on as sorted grades, which achieves a better price than mixed or unsorted loads and keeps more material in use.
- Cable stripping and sorting by conductor grade and gauge
- Separation of mixed non-ferrous loads into individual metal streams
- Grading to recognised UK metal trade standards
- Material baled, containerised or loose-loaded for onward movement
Container & Equipment Hire
We provide short and medium-term hire of skips, containers and associated handling equipment for construction, civil engineering and industrial sites.
Hire is charged at a daily, weekly or project rate, agreed in writing with the customer before the hire begins.
- Containers and skips for waste and metal collection on site
- Handling equipment on defined hire contracts
- Written hire agreements — rates, duration and return conditions
- Equipment delivered to and collected from the customer’s premises
Site Clearance & Strip-Out
We work with commercial clients to clear waste and metals from construction sites, decommissioned plant and industrial premises. We assess the material on site, agree a price or clearance fee and remove it for processing.
Where the value of the material exceeds our removal costs, the site owner receives a payment. Where our costs exceed the value, a clearance fee is charged. All terms are agreed and documented before work begins.
- Industrial strip-outs and end-of-life plant removal
- Construction site clearance during or after project completion
- Decommissioned machinery, pipework, cabling and structural steel
- Transparent pricing: payment or fee based on the assessed material value
